Notes

In order to get a purple overgrown cat, you will need to either raise it from a purple kitten or to take your Overgrown cat to Wendy. Once it has been made a purple cat, it will continue to grow as such.

When being raised, it needs to be fed and interacted with. Kittens will eat any raw fish, cooked fish, or a Bucket of milk. Interacting with the kitten consists of stroking the kitten, playing with toys (Ball of wool or Toy mouse), or catching rats. If your kitten catches 100 mice, you will be awarded a cat training medal. Adult cats can also be fed and interacted with.

A kitten will take approximately 2.5 hours to grow into a Pet cat, at which time you can trade it for 100 Death runes to Civilians in West Ardougne. If you have completed the Easy Ardougne tasks, the price increases to 200.

It is possible to turn a overgrown purple cat into a Overgrown hellcat (and vice versa), however, it will only result in a normal Overgrown hellcat (or Overgrown purple cat); when you cure the cat of its hellish ways, you will be left with a overgrown purple cat once more.

The various growth stages for purple cats are: It is possible to converse with your cat if wearing a Catspeak amulet.
