Open Applications
All positions at RuneHQ are voluntary and UNPAID. Please do not apply with the expectation of monetary compensation for your work; some compensation may be provided depending upon work performed (generally Development based), but is not guaranteed. If you are accepted to staff, you will be required to fill out a permission form that either you or your guardian(s), if under the age of 18, must sign and return before you officially become staff.
If you are interested in more than one staff position, please only apply to your preferred role and inform us of your interest in the other position(s) in the box asking for any other comments you wish to make. If you later decide you are interested in another position and did not mention it on your application, please PM the Manager and/or Admin of that team to express your interest. It is highly suggested to visit the site regularly after applying, those who show no forum activity/access are generally not accepted as staff. Thank you for your interest and have a great day!
Community Crew
The Community Crew is a staff group that is responsible for anything community related.
The crew consists of 2 groups. The Events Team organise RS events, while our Graphics Team support the other group and staff with graphical work. You can choose one group to focus on, but you will be required to help the other group.
ApplyContent Editor
Content Editors are a Staff Group where in users help out by editing the Site Guides and Databases. They keep the site up-to-date with the newest Guides and Calculators, as well as Persons, Items, and Monsters.
Be aware that you do NOT need existing coding knowledge. Management can teach the needed skills. All new editors will begin work on the Person, Items, and Monsters database. From there, you will be able to progress to guides when ready.
ApplyDevelopers
Developers are essentially the IT Support for RuneHQ. These are the people who help code areas of the site, such as creating calculators, improving site layout, and fixing any errors that you guys might be receiving.
They are skilled in one or more different programming languages and keep the RuneHQ servers and site stable.
