Making History

1. Jorral, at the outpost northwest of West Ardougne will tell you about the history of the outpost and will ask you to visit 3 people:
   
   
   • Erin, the Silver merchant in East Ardougne
   • Droalak, the ghost in Port Phasmatys
   • Dron, the warrior in Rellekka

2. Talk to Erin, the Silver merchant, in East Ardougne. He will tell you about his great grandfather, and that he has an Enchanted key. Ask him if you can borrow it and he will agree. The key changes temperature as you walk.

3. Head over to Castle Wars and cross both of the bridges to the north until you are around 4 steps north from the center of the second bridge. As soon as you feel that the Enchanted key is steaming, take out your spade and dig to find a Chest. Use the Enchanted key to open it and you will find a Journal.

4. Make your way to Port Phasmatys. Once there, equip your Ghostspeak amulet and talk to Droalak south of the general store. Droalak will inform you that he has a timeline of the outpost written down on a Scroll in his possession. He will only give you the Scroll if you make Melina a Sapphire amulet.
   
   Note: If you have completed the Ghosts Ahoy quest, you can use an Ectophial to teleport to the Ectofuntus north of Port Phasmatys and enter the city free of charged. If you have not completed this quest, you can pay the guards 2 Ecto-tokens to enter or charter a ship to Port Phasmatys.

5. Head over to the house east of the general store, and give the Sapphire amulet to Melina. She will feel complete and will disappear.

6. Return to Droalak and tell him the good news. He thanks you and gives you the Scroll.
   
   
7. Now, head to the northeastern part of Rellekka and talk to Dron. He does not want to talk to you, but redirects you to his brother Blanin.

8. Walk south to find Blanin near the dairy churn. He will tell you that Dron only talks if you answer numerous questions. To help you, Blanin will give the following facts about this brother:
   
   
   • Dron wields an iron mace in battle
   • Eats rats for breakfast
   • Kittens for lunch
   • Bunnies for tea
   • His favorite drink is red spider blood
   • He's 36 years, 8 months and 21 days old
   • Studies the famous 4th and 5th age battles
   • He lives on the north-east side of the town
   • His brother is Blanin
   • His pet is called Fluffy
   • 5+7 is 12

9. Go back to Dron and say, "I am after important answers." Tell him that he is famous, then answer all the questions he asks with the answers noted above. Once you have successfully answered all the questions, he will tell you all that he knows about the Ardougne Outpost.
   
   
10. When you have spoken to all 3 people, return to Jorral. He will give you a Letter to be delivered to King Lathas.
    
    
11. Head over to Ardougne's Castle and talk to King Lathas on the second floor. He will read the Letter and agree with the museum plans. Afterwards, the king will give you another Letter.

12. Take this Letter back Jorral. He will read it, turn the outpost into a museum (which contains a book mentioning your name), and give you your reward. He will then disappear just as Melina did.
    
    Note: Talk to Historian Minas at the Varrock Museum to receive another 5 Kudos.

Treasure Hunting:

After the quest, talk to Erin, the Silver merchant, again and ask about the key once more. He will tell you that you can find treasure around runescape. Take a spade, and feel the Enchanted key frequently as you walk around. Dig as soon as the key is steaming to receive a random reward.
