Walkthrough

  1. Speak to Wizard Myrtle in front of the Wizard's Tower. You find out that Wizard Myrtle wants you to find her mentor from Tutorial Island, but is afraid to swim and wants you to investigate. Head to Vannaka, he is located in the Edgeville Dungeon by the Slayer Master map icon, near the task icon in East part of the dungeon.

  2. Speak to Vannaka, he will tell you about how Tutorial Island sank into the water shortly after he left. After telling him about Wizard Myrtle, he will accompany you and Wizard Myrtle on your adventure to Tutorial Island. Go back to Wizard Myrtle, Vannaka will appear next to her and will ask you to meet her and Vannaka at Mudskipper Point.

  3. Unequipped any Weapons and unsummon and pets you may have on before proceeding. Speak to Wizard Myrtle at Mudskipper Point, tell her you are ready to go. Wizard Myrtle will send you down to Tutorial island. After being sent down into the starting point, read the bottle that is near the door. Reading the bottle will give you insight of a dark wizard who wrote the message and who may of caused the island to sink. A key will appear after reading the note.

    Note: Fastest way to reach Mudskipper Point is by using the Port Sarim Lodestone and travelling to the south. Alternatively, players who have started Fairy Tale Part II - Cure a Queen can use the Fairy ring code A-I-Q to directly teleport to the island.

  4. Open the door and follow the path until you reach Brynna. Speak to Brynna about Survival skills, she will want you to make a fire. However being underwater she will just ask you to cook a shrimp instead. Catch a Shrimp and use it on the steam vent, just south of the seaweed, to receive Boiled shrimp. Return to Brynna, she won't be satisfied with the Boiled shrimp and ask for a Burnt shrimp.

    Gather some Strong seaweed and head over to a dead tree and attempt to cut the tree down. However you will only get one Soggy branch from the tree. Use the Soggy branch to move the boulder into the vent to allow the steam vent to get hot enough to burn the shrimp. Catch another Shrimp and use it on the steam vent to receive a Burnt shrimp. Speak to Brynna and show her both of the shrimp, you will be able to follow proceed down the path to the next tutor.

  5. Follow the path until you reach Master Chef Lev. Lev will ask you to collect Tasty seaweed in his garden patch, however a Large jellyfish won't allow him to collect any. Lev will hand you his music box to play in front of the Jellyfish. Head outside to the Jellyfish and start playing the music box picking option 2, 3, and 1. After doing so the Jellyfish will allow you to pick some Tasty seaweed.

    Head back to Lev, he will ask you to place the Tasty seaweed on the table to be seasoned. You will have six options to choose from Sweet, Sour, Bitter, Spicy, Salty, or Mellow. The order of these will be different from player to player. If he asks for something Sweet and sour with a bit of spice. The correct order is Sweet, Sour, and Spice. After correctly finishing the Tasty seaweed head through the door.

  6. Follow the path until you see a house, go inside that house and go down the cellar. Go down the path until you see the Mining instructor. Speak to him he will ask you to make a weapon, however you will need to find a way to use the furnace underwater.

    Go to the west and mine the rock to receive a Soggy tin ore. Go to the opposite side and mine the copper rock to receive a Soggy copper ore. Take both ores and use it on the furnace, then close the door, operate the pump, and light the furnace. Open the door of the furnace to receive a Bronzish bar. Use the Bronzish bar on the anvil to smith a Bronze butter knife. Return to the Mining instructor to show him the knife then proceed through the door to the east.

  7. Speak to Vannaka who is through the door, he will ask you to enter the gate. Click on the sword and shield to begin the training. You will need to click all the rats that pop up on your screen to correctly complete the training. After completing the training head back to Vannaka and speak to him, then proceed up the ladder.

  8. Proceed down the path until you reach the bank. Speak to the Financial Advisor, he will explain how there is no money making way left except breaking into the vault. Head to the vault and enter 139 as the code to gain access to the bank vault. Collect all the 25gp off the ground and then return to the Financial Advisor then proceed through both doors.

  9. Proceed down the path until you reach the church, speak to Brother Brace who is inside. Brother Brace explains that he has lost his prayer book, and will ask you to speak to his friends for clues. He will hand you Friend list. Three names will appear on the Friend list (differs player to player) these names could range from (Betty (Green), Dory (Blue), Maggie Karp (Yellow), Nemo (Red), and Vince (Purple)) you must find 3 of them in the surrounding area and speak to them all. The last fish friend will tell you Brother Brace's Prayer Book is inside the coral right outside the church, inside the anchor northeast of the church, or in a cannon west of the cave entrance. Search the Coral, Anchor, or Cannon location to receive Brother Brace's Prayer Book. Return to Brother Brace he will take a key out of his book and unlock the door.

  10. Proceed out the door and follow the path until you reach Wizard Terrova. Speak to Terrova, he will ask you to cast a spell on the chickens. Click on a chicken to shoot air bubbles at it, making the chicken to float away. Speak to Terrova again only to be interrupted by Hector Vivian.

  11. A cutscene will occur, Vannaka will appear in a bubble next to Hector. Hector wants to transform Vannaka to complete his curse on the island. Myrtle will appear to stop Hector before he performs the transformation on Vannaka. Myrtle will request your aid in channeling her spell and keep the Crassians away from her. Crassians will appear randomly, clicking on them will send them in a bubble, however this will interrupt the channeling. Keep channeling and repelling the Crassians until the bar above your head is completely full. When full, Myrtle will ask you to finish Hector off by placing him in a bubble.

  12. Myrtle will take you and Vannaka back to the surface. Speak to Myrtle, during this all the instructors appear on the land with you in there original form. They will all thank you for helping break free Hector's curse.
