The Islands That Once Were Turtles
Overview
The Islands That Once Were Turtles is a chain of islands found within the Arc. They are mostly devoid of people, however, they provide a source of Farming and Divination experience, as well as access to Castaways and Arc birds.
Guide
This is the initial island that you land upon when voyaging to The Islands That Once Were Turtles. Ghosts from the Past largely takes place in the Skulls Fortress Ruins found here and several other features can also be found on this island.
- Portal and Mushroom cluster:
Just East of the dock, you will find the portal labeled A on the map above. In order to activate this portal, you will need at least level 90 Divination - this can be boosted. Activating this portal teleports you to the second island. The mushroom cluster (green number 1 on the map) located a few paces away requires at least level 90 Farming. From this cluster, and the others on this island chain, you can potentially harvest: Wushroom, Lactarius, Paraspore, Purple bellow, and Toastool.

- Bird:
Walking North, along the West coast of the island, you can find our first other point of interest denoted by the blue number 1 on the map, the Titchy Tinamou. Note that these birds are only present in this location every Friday. At 30 minutes past every hour, they will be present for approximately 10 minutes.

- Mushroom cluster:
If you choose to walk around the East coast of the island instead, you can reach the mushroom patch labeled as the green number 2 on the map. The same level 90 Farming is required and the same potential mushrooms can be harvested here: Wushroom, Lactarius, Paraspore, Purple bellow, and Toastool.

- Message in a Bottle:
Close to the Mushroom cluster, once every 7 days, you can find a Message in a bottle that leads to Eisetes Cretor. On this uncharted island, you will find Azalea Oakheart, who will give you a taijitu for rescuing her.

This island is the middle one within the chain. Here we can find several features.
- Portals:
Activating the portal on the first island (labeled as the purple A) brings you to the second island at the portal labeled as B. Activating this portal on the second island can return you to the previous island.
On this island, you can find a second portal (labeled as C) to the West of portal B. In order to activate this portal, you will need to use 50 Ancestral energies. These can be acquired directly from springs on Uncharted isles or by using the springs on Cyclosis and Goshima to create them.

- Message in a Bottle:
Located on the edge of the water between the two portals, once every 8 days, can be found the Message in a Bottle that leads to The Hamlet. On this uncharted island, you will find Harley.

- Mushroom cluster:
On the second island are two mushroom clusters. One is to the North East coast (labeled as the green number 3) and the other is on the West side of the volcano (labeled as the green number 4). The same level 90 Farming is required and the same potential mushrooms can be harvested here: Wushroom, Lactarius, Paraspore, Purple bellow, and Toastool.

- Divine Merchant:
On the North Western shore can be found Halia. She owns the store called Power of the Ancestors. Here you can buy and sell all three types of Arc energies: Positive, Negative, and Ancestral.

Now we have reached the final island within the chain. From here you can choose to use the portals to return back to the previous islands or to travel elsewhere.
- Portals:
Activating portal C will transport you to the third island at the portal labeled as D on the map. This portal can be activated to return you to the second island at portal C.
North West of portal D is the 5th and final portal labeled as E. In order to activate this portal, you will once again require 50 Ancestral energies. After using the energy on it, you will unlock a one-way teleport to Waiko.

- Moai:
In the center of the third island, you will find a dead moai that spawns Positive and Negative energy springs which can be used to make Ancestral energy. Here you can also often find Cyansoul Kakapo due to their attraction to Divination.

- Message in a Bottle:
Near the South Western coast, you will find a boulder. On the Western side of this boulder, once every 9 days, you can find a Message in a bottle that leads to Quis-land. On this uncharted island, you will find Squick.

- Mushroom cluster:
On the South Eastern coast, South of another boulder, you can find the last mushroom cluster available on this island chain. It is labeled as the green number 5 on the map. The same level 90 Farming is required and the same potential mushrooms can be harvested here: Wushroom, Lactarius, Paraspore, Purple bellow, and Toastool.
