Talking to Squick you will learn that it is afraid of the water due to the Harbinger, however it wishes to return to "Nishi" (Aminishi). Occasionally it will spray ink and say "Ick!" when it does. Despite its inability to control its inking, Squick will correct you that it is an adult not a child when you talk to it.
It can be found when you investigate a Message in a bottle(Arc) and travel to the island.
His bottle can be found on Islands That Once Were Turtles; West of the large rocks next to the wisp colony on the third island.
