Research Notes
Updated 2026-03-10. Modeled rates come from current RS3 mining guidance and wiki mechanics data; additional audited resources are listed even where full rate modeling is still pending.
  • Base XP/hour brackets for core rocks align with the current RS3 Mining training guidance.
  • Core rock XP per ore values align with the current RuneScape Wiki mining calculator/module data.
  • Stone spirits, juju mining potion, perfect juju mining potion, and Varrock armour are modeled as ore-output bonuses rather than direct XP bonuses.
  • Primal ore rates are modeled from the current surface primal training bracket and GP/hour example, so output for primal ores is an estimate rather than an exact in-game formula simulation.
  • June 16, 2025 additions verified online: porcelain clay, soft porcelain clay, and platinum ore.
  • Non-core rock XP/hour values (clay, limestone, silver, gold, essence) are modeled from wiki page data and standard single-rock rotation timing; concentrated deposit rates are estimated from Living Rock Cavern action data.
  • Crystal fragment XP/unit corrected to 180 (per RS3 Wiki Solid Crystal page); concentrated gold corrected to 264 XP/action (per wiki skill calc module). Living minerals XP/unit corrected to 25 per action (per RS3 wiki page); rate not yet modeled.
  • Remaining unmodeled entries (soft clay, blurite, daeyalt, rubium, living minerals, sandstone variants, 2025 materials) are included for item/XP reference only.
