Desperate Creatures

1. Talk to $plnkfull3202 about Desperate Creatures. He will tell you that Seren has tasked him with gathering specimens from Anachronia and he needs some help. Accept the quest, then ask what you need to do first. He will give you a Tome of tracking which you can use to locate the specimens he's looking for.
   
   When you Left click the book, you will use its track option which will direct you to the area you need to go. When you are within a certain range of the specimen it will tell you "The next location is X paces DIRECTION." and you should head that way. If it doesn't display a message like this, you are in the wrong area! Once you are close enough the specimen, using the track option will find and collect it.

2. For the first task, you need to collect 4 specimens of local flora.
   
   Make your way towards the Western Anachronia beach, near the Eggsperimentation feeding troughs. Once there, Left click the Tome of tracking to get guidance on where to go, walk to the area, Left click the tome again to collect the specimen. Repeat this process 4 times for this area.
   
   The final location will place you just North of the totem spot, as seen in the image below - click the image below for a map of the rough locations where you will locate specimens. When you collect the final specimen, you will overhear a conversation between Hannibus and Vindicta about their homeworld, Iaia.

3. Return to $plnkfull3202, talk to him about Desperate Creatures and report your progress. Talk to him about Desperate Creatures again and he will tell you to go gather more specimens. The Tome of tracking will direct you to the Anachronia Base Camp. Note that you will need to speak to $plnkfull3202 twice every time you visit him - once to tell him your progress and once to see what to do next. Thanks Jagex.

4. For the second task, you need to collect 4 specimens of shurbs.
   
   Teleport to the Anachronia lodestone and use the Tome of tracking to find 4 more specimens, just like you did before. The final specimen should be inside the Town Hall and, when you go to collect it, $plnkfull1212 will have a brief word with you. 5. Return to $plnkfull3202, talk to him about Desperate Creatures and report your progress. Talk to him about Desperate Creatures again and he will tell you to go gather more specimens. Clicking the Tome of tracking will direct you to South Eastern Anachronia.

6. For the third task, you need to collect 4 specimens of mushrooms.
   
   Make your way to the pathways between the $mlnkfull2306, $mlnkfull2309, and $mlnkfull2308 clearings for the next batch of specimens. This area can be quickly reached using the Orthen teleportation device to the Moksha Ritual Site and stepping outside or by using the Agility course if you have either of the necessary levels. Once there, use the Tome of tracking to locate the specimens as you previously have.
   
   The final specimen will be in the ruins just East of the $mlnkfull2306 clearing, as seen in the image below - click the image below for a map of the rough locations where you will locate specimens. When you go to collect the specimen, you will find yourself talking with Zaros, who will tell you about the development of his patience.

7. Return to $plnkfull3202, talk to him about Desperate Creatures and report your progress. Talk to him about Desperate Creatures again and he will tell you to go gather more specimens. Clicking the Tome of tracking will direct you to Eastern Anachronia.

8. For the fourth task, you need to collect 4 specimens of insects.
   
   Head to the clearing between the $mlnkfull2309, $mlnkfull2311, and $mlnkfull2310. If you have killed one of the Rex Matriarchs at least once, we recommend attuning a portal to them at War's Retreat, leaving the ruins, then running East. Once again, use the Tome of tracking to obtain 4 more specimens.
   
   The final specimen will be just South East of the Eastern Overgrown Idol - click the image below for a map of the rough locations where you will locate specimens. When you go to collect it, you'll get to overhear a delightfully typical bit of discourse between Charos and Thok.

9. Return to $plnkfull3202, talk to him about Desperate Creatures and report your progress. Talk to him about Desperate Creatures again and he will tell you to go gather more specimens. Clicking the Tome of tracking will direct you to Central Anachronia.

10. For the final task, you need to collect 4 specimens of frogs.
    
    Travel to the Spirit Grove on Anachronia. If you have killed one of the Rex Matriarchs at least once, we recommend attuning a portal to them at War's Retreat then exiting the ruins.
    
    When you collect the final one, you should be standing by Prehistoric Potterington and will strike up a brief conversation with her - click the image below for a map of the rough locations where you will locate specimens.

11. Return to $plnkfull3202 yet again and talk to him about Desperate Creatures to report your progress. He will direct you to Seren.

12. Enter the Castle just North of $plnkfull3202 and climb up the stairs. Select No if asked if you are there for Azzanadra's Quest OR Yes if asked if you are there for Desperate Creatures - the prompt you are given may change depending on where you are with other quests.
    
    Once upstairs talk to Seren, then return to The Curator and talk to him about Desperate Creatures to finish up.

13. Once your conversation with Seren completes, return to $plnkfull3202 and talk to him about Desperate Creatures to finish up.
