These gauntlets are the best melee gloves available to Free-to-play players and the 8th best melee gloves overall. Although Culinaromancer's gloves 8 (Rune gloves) have the same Defence requirement and provide a Damage bonus, they have a lower Armour Bonus.
If you buy these gauntlets in Worn-out form, then they can be recharged for 35 Fist of Guthix by talking to Reggie.
Unlike most other Fist of Guthix rewards, these do not degrade with use and if you wish to sell them, then you must talk to Reggie to have him change them back to Worn-out gauntlets.
If you die without protecting these gauntlets, then they will revert to Worn-out if you retrieve them from your gravestone.
If you buy these gauntlets in Worn-out form, then they can be recharged for 35 Fist of Guthix by talking to Reggie.
