Item Uses
Can be grown from baby to elder at Player-Owned Farms; Sold to Prezleek (yak buyer) or Baby Shakes for beans; Used to breed more yaks at Player-Owned Farms.
Notes
Yaks can be traded player to player, but can only be sold on the GE in their unchecked form.
Yaks are kept in the large pens or the Breeding pen at Player-Owned Farms. Yaks need to be fed while in pens. They eat most flowers, fruits, and vegetables. See Flowery mush, Fruity mush, or Veggie mush for available options.
At the Adolescent, Adult, and Elder growth stages the Fremennik will provide 2 Yak milk (if the yak is female), 2 Yak tufts, Yak-hide, and 2 Hair. The following table shows the the time it takes to grow a yak and the experience given:
When sold to Prezleek (yak buyer) for beans the number of beans received is dependent upon the yak's age. Baby Shakes will pay you 10% of the value that Prezleek (yak buyer) does:
Curing a yak from disease provides the following experience:
