Item Uses
Provides a 2% chance to make a gem of the same type when cutting Uncut sapphires, Uncut emeralds, Uncut rubies, Uncut diamonds, and Uncut dragonstones; Doubles the chance of obtaining a Strange rock (Crafting) and Golden rock (Crafting).
Notes
Made by having Ilfeen or Eluned enchant a Crystal tool seed. This costs 1,000,000gp the first time and decreases with each subsequent recharge until it reaches a minimum of 200,000gp after the 5th recharge.
Alternatively, you can make one yourself by taking a Crystal tool seed and 150 Harmonic dust to the Singing bowl found just North of Lady Ithell in Prifddinas.
This chisel can make 28 gems before it will revert to a Crystal tool seed and need to be recharged.
