Dramen staff or Lunar staff for fairy ring teleport to Piscatoris (code: AKQ) OR 50 gp for boat to Piscatoris.

Note: If you have completed Fairy Tale Part III, then staves are not needed.

Walkthrough

  1. Go to the cave entrance southwest of the Piscatoris Fishing Colony. You will see the Priest of Guthix outside of it. He will tell you to go into the cave to perform a ritual to save the Phoenix.

  2. Go inside the entrance to collect the ingredients needed for the ritual. You will need to collect these twigs: Cinnamon twigs, Sassafras twigs, Ailanthus twigs, Cedar twigs, and Mastic twigs The trees containing the twigs are in one cave each. The placement of each tree is random for everyone. In each cave, harvest the tree to receive its twigs, then go into the next cave.

    • Cave 1: Cinnamon tree
    • Cave 2: Sassafras tree
    • Cave 3: Ailanthus tree
    • Cave 4: Cedar tree
    • Cave 5: Mastic tree

    Note: If you leave the cave or log out you will lose every twig you have collected so far and must start over again.

  3. Now, head into the next cave of the lair. To perform the ritual, you need to use the Knife with the twigs to make them into weaving ribbons. Use the ribbons on the pyre and light it with a Tinderbox.

  4. Once the pyre has been lit, you will see a cutscene of the Phoenix turning to ashes and being reborn.

  5. Talk to the Phoenix and she will give 5 Phoenix quills telling you that using them with an ingredient will temporarily call the phoenix to you. You may also challenge her to a duel now once a day, if you have 51 Slayer. The reward for each battle consists of another 5 Phoenix quills.

  6. Leave the lair by using the "Escape-Cave" option and talk to the Priest of Guthix to receive your reward.

Rewards

5 Phoenix quills, 14,400 Firemaking XP, 12500 Fletching xp, 11,556 Crafting XP, access to the Phoenix' Lair once per day, and 2 Treasure Hunter keys.
