  1. Find General Bentnoze and General Wartface in their hut on the north side of the Goblin Village, north of Falador, and attempt to talk to either of them. You will find them arguing about which color armor is best. Ask if you could help them decide on a color other than red or green and they will accept. The first color they wish to try is orange. If you ask the generals where to get some armor, they will suggest searching the crates in the village.

  2. Search crates in the house to the west of the Generals, behind the General's Hut, and up the ladder by the village gates to find 3 Goblin mails (the goblins in the village can also drop Goblin mail when killed).

  3. Note: You can skip this step if you already have an Orange dye and a Blue dye.

Head south to the park in Falador and Wyson the Gardener will give you two woad leaves for 20 gp. This is for the blue dye. Go south to Rimmington and pick two onions in the field. These are for the yellow dye. Three redberries for the red dye can be purchased from the food store in Port Sarim or picked up from redberry bush near Varrock's southeast mine.

  4. Note: You can skip this step if you already have an Orange dye and a Blue dye.

Take all the items to Aggie the Witch in Draynor Village. Ask her to make you Blue, Yellow and Red dyes from the items. Each dye will cost 5 gp to make. Mix the red and yellow dye together and they will form orange dye.

Note: (Members only) The fastest way to reach Draynor Village is by using teleport option on a charged Amulet of glory.

  5. Use the orange dye on the goblin mail. Use the blue dye on the second set of goblin mail and leave the third set of mail its original color, brown.

  6. Head back to the goblin village and talk to General Bentnoze or General Wartface. Tell them that you have orange armor. In a cut scene, they will ask Grubfoot to try on the armor but will decide that it clashes with their skin tone. They then suggest that blue would be a good color for the armor.

  7. Speak to General Bentnoze or General Wartface and tell them that you have blue armor. In a cut scene they will ask Grubfoot to try on the armor but do not think it is nice; they think that goblins should be dressed in more earthy colors, such as brown.

  8. Talk to General Bentnoze or General Wartface for the last time and tell them that you have brown armour, in the cut scene Grubfoot models the brown armor and everyone agrees it is the best color.

    Congratulations! Quest complete!
