Items Needed

Seal of passage, food to feed the fallen man (bring at least 3 different types of food, about 15 spots in total for the first part, and about 12 more for the second), one astral rune (more if you want to use the Moonclan teleport for easier access to a bank), hammer, tinderbox, pestle and mortar, and goutweed (can be obtained by planting a gout tuber or by stealing one from the Troll Stronghold kitchen storage, refer to Eadgar's Ruse quest. It is not tradeable.) Also recommended are good armour and food for the final fight, Super potion sets, and teleport runes to Moonclan.

Items Acquired During Quest

A Lunar Isle teleport.

Walkthrough

  1. Head to Lunar Isle by talking to Lokar Searunner at Relleka, and then by talking to the captain of the ship. Once there, head north to the mines and go down the ladder. Enter the tunnel where the quest symbol is and you will see a fallen man inside.

  2. Try talking to the man, and you will learn that he needs help being revived. Inspecting him will bring up a status screen. Your goal is to get all the status bars to 100%. Start off by using a variety of foods on him until his health is at 40%, then start talking to him.

  3. When talking to him, keep reassuring him that everything will be alright. Once you raise his health and spirit to a certain level, Cyrisus will stand up and tell you to go see his friend at the Moonclan bank. You will be able to talk to Cyrisus via the NPC spell in your lunar spell book.

  4. Go to the bank and talk to 'Bird's-Eye' Jack. He will give you access to Cyrisus' bank and a chest to carry his stuff.

  5. Take out a Dragon med helm, an Abyssal whip, Ahrim's robetop, Ahrim's skirt, and Ranger boots. Go back to the cave and give him all the armaments. Bring more food with you also to raise his health to 100%.

  6. After he gets dressed, you will need to feed him and talk to him so all status bars are at 100%. You will then chat for a little bit and he will ask you to go see the Oneiromancer with him so he can get over his fear of combat. She can be found at the Astral Altar, south of the boat to the Isle.

  7. She will tell you that in order to help Cyrisus get over his fear of combat, you and him must enter the Dreamworld together, and for that you will need to fill up the dream vial the Oneiromancer will give you.

  8. To complete the dream vial, fill it with water from the sink next to the bank, then add one goutweed and one ground astral rune to the vial (use a hammer on an astral rune and then use the shards with a pestle and mortar). Goutweed can be obtained by planting a gout tuber or by stealing one from the kitchen storage in the Troll Stronghold (see Eadgar's Ruse quest).

  9. Once you have your potion, go to the bank and take out some good armour and food because you are going to have to fight tough creatures WITHOUT prayer! Super potion sets are recommended.

Note: Do not take any armour and/or weapons you are not prepared to lose, as you can't get them back in case you die in the dream world.

  10. Go to the middle of the town and light the brazier. After that, talk to Cyrisus and give him the potion. You will then be teleported to the Dream World. You will fight monsters with combat levels of 343, 223, 274 and 108 in a row, so BE PREPARED! The level 343 hits 16s too often, so bring good food. The level 108 monster (The Illusive) will teleport around the arena, so you have to see where it teleported to in order to attack it again.

  11. Once you kill The Illusive, Cyrisus will squish it with his foot and have no more fear of combat.
