The Dig Site: You must find an Ancient talisman in the site and give it to the expert to receive an Invitation letter which allows you to use the mine winches around the site.
Desert Treasure: He translates the Etchings into a book of Translation for you.
The Temple at Senntisten: Must talk to him to obtain a Restoration certificate for Azzanadra.
You can talk to him after The Dig Site to obtain the Codex Ultimatus and unlock four new combat abilities(if you have the appropriate levels). You can also give him 3 Nuggets in return for 1 Gold ore.
