A shooting star lands about every 2 hours in a random location on every world. Once you mine to the center, the Star sprite will reward you with Gold ore, Cosmic runes, Astral runes, and Coins. The amount you receive is based on the number of stardust you collected. You can only have 200 stardust collected at one time and be rewarded once per day.
