He will say random things when you encounter him in the mines. There are several in the area, but there is only one located south of the mine entrance, who will respond when you talk to him. He has a plan to escape and will trade his Slave boots, Slave shirt, and Slave robe for your Desert shirt, Desert robe, and Desert boots. After the quest, he will still trade you for the clothes.
