Formerly the Gnome on a rack. During the Mourning's Ends Part I quest, you 'Release' him from the rack. He will then be available to repair the Broken device anytime you bring it to him, along with a Magic log, Soft Leather, and Toad crunchies and turn it into the Fixed device. In the Within The Light quest, the Gnome is offered the chance at freedom when he agrees to help the player create a distraction.
