Ghost villagers are the ghosts of the citizens of Port Phasmatys, who after being tricked by Necrovarus into building the Ectofuntus, become trapped in the port and later died from a lack of supplies. Their souls are now trapped inside the port and prevented from passing over into the afterlife.
The villagers don't take kindly to the living and during Ghosts Ahoy you must wear an ecto-slime covered Bedsheet to disguise yourself as a ghost in order to obtain signatures for Gravingas' Petition form.
