Speak to Gertrude to begin the Gertrude's Cat quest. Your quest reward will include a Pet kitten. Should you lose your Pet Kitten, shoo it away, or it has grown into a Pet cat and you want another kitten, you can purchase another from her for 100 gold coins.
For Rat Catchers, Gertrude is again the start point of the quest.
In A Tail of Two Cats you will talk to Gertrude about Bob's parents.
During Pieces of Hate, you will ask her if she has a kitten for your friend, (Zombie pirate head. She will inform you that she doesn't, but suggests you try asking Kanel or Philop.
