Archmage Sedridor is the head wizard of the Wizards' Tower. He is able to teleport you to the Rune essence mine, however there are other Wizards able to do so that are closer to a bank.
During Rune Memories he helps you gain access to the older temple and takes part in a ritual. After completion, he will offer you the Archmage title if you have both 99 Magic and Runecrafting.
