During The Tale of the Muspah quest he teaches you how to melt ice and after the quest he will give you more information the Muspah and Mahjarrats. Will also guide you along the way during The Curse of Arrav quest, and supply you with additional information about the Mahjarrats after the quest is over. He also starts The Temple at Senntisten quest.
