In order to interact with Adam, players must first unlock him by purchasing his contract from Granny Potterington's Farmers' Market for 5,000 beans.
For the cost of 100 beans, players can send Adam to find unchecked animals for them. After 6 hours, he will return, allowing players to use the collect option to receive the animal. He can bring back any unchecked animal except for Chicken eggs (unchecked). When he brings back a chicken, the player will always know the sex of the animal before checking it. As such, he is one of the only two ways to receive any unchecked chicken other than Chicken eggs (unchecked).
