Used to kill <a href="/database/monster/delrith">Delrith</a> (<a href="/rs3/quest/demon-slayer">Demon Slayer</a>); Turned into <a href="/database/item/darklight">Darklight</a> (<a href="/rs3/quest/shadow-of-the-storm">Shadow of the Storm</a>); Used to fight demons.
Notes
After completion of the associated quests, if you have unlocked the entire <a href="/rs3/special/mays-quest-caravan#hub">Hub track</a>, this item can be retrieved from the Quest Item Storage chest at the <a href="/rs3/special/mays-quest-caravan">Quest Point Caravan</a> if lost or destroyed. Otherwise, a new one can be obtained from <a href="/database/npc/gideon-bede">Gideon Bede</a>.

The only reason to keep this item after completion of the associated quest is due to how well it works against demons, including its ability to remove a fire shield from <a href="/database/monster/tormented-demon">Tormented demons</a>. Since most people do not regularly kill a bunch of demons, it can be destroyed or kept as you desire until necessary.
