Notes
Your chance of receiving thread when creating runes is dependent upon your <a href="/rs3/skill/runecrafting">Runecrafting</a> level. Chances can be increased by using more essence per interaction and by using a <a href="/database/item/demonic-skull">Demonic skull</a>.

Rune pouches can be created anywhere by clicking the thread and choosing to weave it.

At level 55, a <a href="/database/item/sealed-small-rune-pouch">Sealed small rune pouch</a> can be made from 30 thread - granting 1,500 <a href="/rs3/skill/runecrafting">Runecrafting</a> experience. As it is only possible to use 1 <a href="/database/item/small-rune-pouch">Small rune pouch</a> at a time, it is advised to dye it to create 1, or more, colored pouch for actual use.
