The hermit crab is a pet that may be caught while <a href="/rs3/skill/fishing">Fishing</a> <a href="/database/item/large-crystal-urchin">Large crystal urchins</a> at the Prifddinas Waterfall. It goes straight to the inventory when caught. They will not run away when starved, but they can be fed with any type of raw fish.
Unlike most pets, the hermit crab can be customized by giving it various items to use as a home. Different houses may be bought using crystal urchin points at <a href="/database/npc/mhistyll">Mhistyll's</a> Waterfall Fishing Shop. Houses include:
