Festive cracker

Pull it with another player for your chance at a Black santa hat.

This is can only be found during the 2013 Christmas period (00:00 GMT December 20th 2013 until 23:59 GMT January 3rd 2014). All crackers will be removed from the game shortly after this period.

There are a number of way to find a cracker, these include:

• Daily challenges – Each day the player will receive a cracker for the first daily challenge they complete.
• The Bird and the Beast challenge – Each day the player can earn 10,000 renown in the event in order to receive a cracker.
• Cracker drops – Each day at 02:00 GMT and 20:00 GMT there will be a balloon drop containing 200 crackers in the Falador party room.
• Crackers from skilling/killing – Activities which would normally have a chance of dropping a spin ticket also have a chance of dropping a cracker.

Wearing Christmas themed items will increase the chance of crackers dropping while skilling/killing by 20% each, up to a cap of +120%.

When pulled with another player you'll receive an instant reward, and both players will receive 1,000 bonus XP in a random skill, there is a very rare change that you'll get yourself the brand new tradeable rare, a Black santa hat!

NOTE: The owner of the cracker will always get the item gift. The person you pull the cracker with will only ever gain the bonus exp.
