This item is made by using <a href="/database/item/black-mushroom-ink">Black mushroom ink</a> on <a href="/database/item/silverlight">Silverlight</a>. <br/><br/> The special attack uses 50% of the adrenaline bar to lower the target's attack, defence, and strength by 5-10%. <br/><br/> After completion of the associated quest, if you have unlocked the entire <a href="/rs3/special/mays-quest-caravan#hub">Hub track</a>, this item can be retrieved from the Quest Item Storage chest at the <a href="/rs3/special/mays-quest-caravan">Quest Point Caravan</a> if lost or destroyed. Otherwise, a new one can be obtained from <a href="/database/npc/gideon-bede">Gideon Bede</a>. <br/><br/> The only reason to keep this item after completion of the associated quest is due to how well it works against demons. Since most people do not regularly kill a bunch of demons, it can be destroyed or kept as you desire until necessary.  <br/><br/> It is possible to upgrade Silverlight after <a href="/rs3/quest/dimension-of-disaster">Dimension of Disaster</a> for 5 Silver pennies. This upgrade grant the following perks: <br/> <ul> <li>150% extra damage using auto attacks (vs 100%)</li> <li>50%-149% extra damage using abilities (vs 25%-124%)</li> <li>30% base hit chance (vs 20%)</li> <li>Final blow on Gargoyles - if <a href="/rs3/skill/slayer#slayerpoints">"quicker killing blows"</a> is unlocked</li> </ul>
