Picked up from a crate on the lowest floor of the Abandoned Mine, in the southern part of the Mort Myre Swamp.

You must defeat Treus Dayth before you can pick up the key. Before it is picked up, it is called a "Innocent-looking key". It can be added to your Steel key ring.
