Used to reduce weight - by 4.5 kg (equipped) and 0.3 kg (in inventory).
Notes
Must have a light source and sharp object to obtain the boots. Despite being necessary for completion of <a href="/rs3/quest/temple-of-ikov">Temple of Ikov</a>, is NOT required to obtain the boots.

After completion of the associated quest, if you have unlocked the entire <a href="/rs3/special/mays-quest-caravan#hub">Hub track</a>, this item can be retrieved from the Quest Item Storage chest at the <a href="/rs3/special/mays-quest-caravan">Quest Point Caravan</a> if lost or destroyed. Otherwise, a new one can be obtained from the basement.

The entire reason to keep these boots is their weight reducing properties. They are fantastic for training <a href="/rs3/skill/runecrafting">Runecrafting</a> and <a href="/rs3/skill/agility">Agility</a> or for participating in any activity that requires large amounts of running: <a href="/rs3/distract-divert/guthixian-cache">Guthixian Caches</a>, <a href="/rs3/distract-divert/familiarisation">Familiarisation</a>, and <a href="/rs3/minigame/shifting-tombs">Shifting Tombs</a> as examples.
