The auto-screener can be turned on and off at a player's choice. While active, it will automatically Screen any Soil obtained while excavating at the cost of 3.33 charge from the player's charge pack. Unlike Screening at the Archaeology Guild, Screening Soil in this manner will not yield Archaeology experience or artefacts, but will yield any Archaeology materials that would normally be obtained from Screening the same Soil.
Before a player can create an auto-screener, they must first purchase the blueprints from Ezreal for 50,000 Chronotes, and then take the time to discover a working prototype at an Invention bench, which yields 21,500 Invention if done perfectly.
